Nature of work: Glaziers fabricate and install all glazed building materials and systems. These systems include aluminum storefront, curtain wall, ribbon wall and metal framed windows. Glaziers also install glass, mirror and insulated glass units. We are responsible for fabrication and installation of architectural metal and building panels.

Physical Demands: Heavy work. You should be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. The job also requires frequent lifting, climbing ladders, use of aerial man lifts, working at heights, stooping bending and ability to work in tight places.

Working Conditions: Both inside and outside work year round, working at heights using ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding and swing stages. Often exposed to weather and dusty conditions.

Training Duration: Minimum of 576 hrs of related classroom instruction with 144hrs per year and a minimum 8000 hrs on the job.

Applicants must meet the following requirements

  1. Age must be 18yrs of age proof required

  2. Education high school diploma or GED

  3. Math test required

  4. Physically able to meet the requirements of trade

  5. Interest

  6. Attitude

  7. Drug test Required
